Can everyone from toddlers to grandparents really enjoy it?
Yes. The new ride has an age limit of 4 and up, but there are also all-ages experiences such as the dinosaur safari, the balloon, and a forest spa for grandparents.
Do we need a car?
Public transport is limited in northern Okinawa, so a large rental car (an International Driving Permit — or, for licences from France, Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium or Monaco, an official Japanese translation) or the reservation-only JUNGLIA Express direct bus are the realistic options.
Can we do it as a day trip from Naha?
It's about a 1.5-hour drive each way (guideline), so a round trip plus sightseeing makes for a long day. With children, staying one night in the north greatly reduces the strain.
